Velodonnas (Women only) Meet at St. Mary's Rd and the South Perimeter Highway (100)
 
Contact via their website Women only, suitable for all level of riders. Pace depends on group. St. Adolphe is ~12K south from our meeting place so a round trip at a decent pace takes  1hour. If the group is slower then the ride will either take longer or not go as far. If the group is faster then we can extend the ride. We will ride as a group and leave no one behind. Leisurely 38 km ride out to floodway. Cross floodway and take Red River Dr. south to Hwy 75. Return through St. Norbert and behind U of M and back to parking lot. (approx 2 ½ hrs) Membership required for all WCC rides. Medium pace, suitable for most. More information on their website

Suitable for all levels of riders and types of bikes.  Slow easy pace. (20 km/h)  Membership is required. Helmet mandatory. There is often an Ice cream stop. Excellent ride for beginners. More information on their website

Gord's Mountain Bike Club Wednesday Night Ride. Starts at Winter Club parking lot, 7 Donald Street JF Ravenelle 284 2952  Mountain Bike fun ride, Must have ridden trails before. Must also have a good sense of humor and like to ride long rather than hard. Lights suggested as we come back at dusk. Ride lasts between 2.5 to 3.5 hours and we ride for the slowest person... No stress. bring water. Helmets required. Post-ride socializing encouraged at The Keg downtown. No fee but must be a member of Gord's Mountain Bike Club

Dale Kramer 204-857 2460 Wednesday Night Mountain Bike Ride: Meet 5:45 PM @ Dale's house or 6:30 PM @ Birch Ski Area. Call for location. Fast paced ride for around 2 hours in length, good for experienced riders. You must be a MCA member to be eligible to ride @ The Birch Ski area.

Road Bike, with a very fast pace of 2 - 3 hours in duration. For experienced fit road riders. No cost for first ride but membership/waiver is required. Be early for they start promptly.  You will need water. Helmet required.  More info on the FOG website.

Winnipeg Cycletouring Club Weekend rides begin at various times and locations outside of Winnipeg and are road or offroad specific. Contact via website
 
Rides are conducted alternately between Saturdays and Sundays. Lunch breaks are usually at a local eatery or municipal park.
Duration typically 3 – 4 hrs long. Certain amount of fitness is required. Membership required for all WCC rides.

Velodonnas Saturday Mountain Bike Ride. Women only. Meet at The Forks. On the walking bridge that crosses the Assiniboine River
 
Contact via their website Women only. Length depends on group. Not more than 2 hours. Favorite destinations include Assiniboine and Whittier Parks. Meet at the Parking lot at the Royal Canadian Legion at Henderson Hwy & North Perimeter Hwy. (101)
Rene Ammann 256 6825 Road Bike. Fast pace, can be competitive, large pack, 2 -4 hour ride.  No cost for first ride, but membership/waiver is required. Regular stops. Be early, this ride starts promptly. Coffee at end of ride. You need water! Helmet required. More information on the FOG Website.

Lifesport Sunday morning ride.  Meet at Lifesport 411 Pembina Highway Jeremy Silcox  

 

Road Ride. For fit beginners and intermediate road riders. Moderate to fast paced group ride, 1.5 - 2.5 hours. Improve skills and fitness. No cost! Call Lifesport 475-2352 on Saturday afternoon to confirm start location and time. Helmet required.
 
Sunday

Gord's MTB Club Sunday Epic Rides JF Ravenelle 284 2952  Sundays we drive out of town to different trails. Must sign-up ahead of time, no walk-ups. Must own a well-maintained bike, hydration pack, tubes, food, helmet and gloves. Other musts: [1] Must be an experienced rider. [2] Must have ridden on a few Wednesday or Thursday night rides. [3] Must like to ride long rather than hard. [4] Must be good humored and gregarious. Technical rides last 4.5 to 6 hours at moderate speed. Must be a member of Gord's Mountain Bike Club. Portage Junk Yard Dogs Sunday Mountain Bike Ride at Birch Ski Area Dale Kramer  (204) 857-2460. Meet @ Birch Ski Area - 3 PM. 2 hour ride at a fairly easy pace, good for novice riders and families.  You must be a MCA member to be eligible to ride @ The Birch Ski area. Helmet required.
 

Note: For all rides a helmet is mandatory, and most require a spare tube, water bottle, and your own food as most rides are of more than 1 hour duration.  Rides do require a bike in good condition. Some rides do require a certain level of cardio fitness. Proper attire highly recommended. Check with the organizer to make sure ride is on.
